Conjugation of Verbs: 

There are two main kinds of conjugation of verbs the Strong Verb and Weak Verb.

Conjugation of Verbs means to give its four principal form 

  • Present
  • Past
  • Past Participles
  • Present Participles

Why strong verbs are irregular verbs?

Strong verbs are called Irregular Verbs as they are not changed in a regular way. Strong verbs form their past tense by changing the inside vowel(s) of their present tense.                       

In other words if the Past or Past Participle is formed from the Present Tense by changing the vowel of the verb without adding suffix, the verb is said to be Irregular  Verb.

  • break, broke, broken
  • do, did, done
  • take took, taken
  • eat , ate , eaten
  • know, knew, known
